Abstract
ⶠSynthesize a new thermo-sensitive copolymer poly(NIPA-co-BA), (abbreviated PNB). ⶠIt can form aqueous two-phase systems (ATPS) with another novel pH-sensitive copolymer poly(AA-co-DMAEMA-co-BMA), (abbreviated PADB) which was synthesized by co-worker in our lab. ⶠBased on the property of pH/temperature sensitivity, the copolymers could be recycled with over recovery of 97%. ⶠThe aqueous two-phase systems were used for bioconversion reaction of Penicillin G. Yield of product 6-APA could be 95.4%.
