► Zircon from the eclogite in North Dabie records the ages of multiple discrete events. ► The UHP metamorphic age in North Dabie is 222 ± 4-227 ± 2 Ma. ► The HP eclogite-facies metamorphic time for North Dabie is 210 ± 3-215 ± 2 Ma. ► Three UHP slices in Dabie have different exhumational histories after the peak stage.
