Abstract
âºThe S-type granites in the Moldanubian unit formed during rapid exhumation of the hot metapelitic crust. âºMonazite geochronology shows that the exhumation took place at 329-327 Ma at a rate of 6-7 mm per year. âºThe granite magma then ascended faster than its host and intruded the cold part of the same complex.
