Abstract
► In an anatectic zone, carbonatites are transformed in a metamorphic association. ► The igneous mineralogy of carbonatites completely disappeared. ► The metamorphic mineralogy is composed by diopside, vesuvianite, garnet and calcite. ► The metacarbonatites differ in C and O isotopic contents from the igneous protholiths. ► Metamorphic reactions were associated with the infiltration of F-rich aqueous fluids.
