Abstract
⺠The Guyang batholith from the northern NCC had an early Permian emplacement time. ⺠Various rock types from the batholith exhibit a high-K calc-alkaline affinity. ⺠Their generation involves enriched mantle-derived mafic and crustal felsic magmas. ⺠The magma association attests to episodic crust-mantle interaction. ⺠This interaction witnessed a metacratonic process in the northern NCC.
