Abstract
⺠Real-time oceanographic data record quasi-continuous gravity flows. ⺠Gravity flows occur during the freshet and spring flood tides. ⺠Tides and elevated river discharge trigger gravity flows. ⺠Hypopycnal plumes and resuspended bottom sediments contribute to gravity flows. ⺠Gravity flows are confined to the upper delta front.
