Abstract
⺠High-resolution magnetic surveys delineate heavy mineral sediment concentrations. ⺠Comparisons to morphology show their dependence on tidal currents and wave action. ⺠Their distributions reflect erosional processes occurring in parts of Chesapeake Bay. ⺠The prevalence of these processes appears to vary with Holocene sea level changes.
