Abstract
⺠Water usage and environment pollution by pulping mills depend on wood materials. ⺠The amount of extractives in eucalyptus woods vary with tree species and sites. ⺠Eucalyptus grandis is attractive for pulping for minimal water and environment pollution. ⺠Ixopo site produce trees with higher amount of extractives, hence not suitable site. ⺠Fatty acids were responsible for the differences in the tree species studied.
