Abstract
⺠New mapping in the Anti-Atlas covers six 1:50,000-scale sheets (about 4000 km2). ⺠Sixteen new U-Pb SHRIMP zircon ages from igneous rocks range from about 650 to 556 Ma. ⺠Detrital zircons from the Mimount Formation yield ages of about 2050 Ma. ⺠Pan-African orogenesis occurred in three phases from about 760 to 560 Ma.
