Abstract
⺠We create calibration curves using seven different amino acids for each of three taxa. ⺠We evaluate the quality of each calibration curve using the maximum inferred age. ⺠We use the inferred ages from the most consistent curves to calculate the weighted mean inferred age for each specimen. ⺠All three taxa yield highly quality geochronological signals. ⺠The top 1.4 m of sediment are age-homogenous and all three taxa yield similar mean age estimates.
