Abstract
⺠Zircon U-Pb dating of the W. Anatolian granitoids yields ages between 19 and 24 Ma. ⺠The isotopic compositions and cooling age relationships indicate an increasing crustal signature from 24 to 19 Ma. ⺠This time interval coincides with crustal exhumation and extension in western Anatolia.
