Abstract
► The Bitlis Massif in SE Turkey is intruded by leucocratic magmas represented by the Doğruyol metagranite at ~ 572 Ma. ► The meta-granite crystallised from calc-alkaline, I-type, peraluminous arc-type melts. ► Zircon age data show maximum depositional age of ~ 627 Ma (paragneiss) and ~ 520 Ma (metagranite) for regional Pan-African metamorphism.
