► U-Pb geochronology of detrital zircons in the Cantabrian Zone (NW Iberia) ► NW Iberia was part of the Gondwana Northern margin from Ordovician to Late Devonian. ► NW Iberia was situated somewhere near central north Africa during this time span. ► Topographic changes due to Variscan orogeny, oroclinal buckling and delamination.
