Abstract
⺠A petrographical study of the host rocks of the Kipushi Cu-Zn deposit is conducted. ⺠Stable and radiogenic (Sr, Nd) isotopes of host and gangue dolomite are compared. ⺠The host rock composition and isotope signature are unrelated to the ore body. ⺠The metal source includes most likely both mafic and felsic basement rocks.
