Abstract
⺠Unlike previous publications, this has proven that the basin is not exclusively Tertiary. ⺠Established a regional correlation of Campano-Maastrichtian units in the Gulf of Guinea. ⺠This work has improved on the general stratigraphic framework of the Basin. ⺠Initiate a Cretaceous foraminiferal data base and biostratigraphy for further research.
