Abstract
⺠Lattice preferred orientations can occur through mimicry of pre-existing LPO. ⺠The interphase misorientation distribution analysis tool can identify LPO mimicry. ⺠Barroisite can replace omphacite via a 180° rotation around the omphacite <001> axis. ⺠Barrosite can replace glaucophane by copying its crystal lattice exactly. ⺠Retrogression and exhumation of Punta Telcio eclogites was for a time static.
