Abstract
⺠Subgrain rotation recrystallization is dominant in the mantle lithosphere. ⺠Orientation of recrystallized grains controlled by the deformation fabric. ⺠Recrystallized volume controls the dispersion and the strength of olivine CPO. ⺠Temperature controls the interplay between deformation, nucleation and growth rates. ⺠Anisotropy at sub-Moho depths should be weaker than deeper in the mantle.
