Abstract
⺠We synthesize moisture, ocean front, sea-surface temperature, dust, and productivity data. ⺠We use the data to address possible changes in westerly winds during the last Ice Age. ⺠Strengthening, equatorward shifts, or no change in winds are all consistent with data. ⺠Resolving changes in westerly winds during the Ice Age is elusive based on data alone.
