Abstract
⺠10Be dating of Dartmoor tors provides new constraints on UK upland landscape evolution. ⺠Exposure age distribution from 32 tors exhibits a strong peak in the mid-Devensian. ⺠36-50 ka modal age cluster favours a periglacial regolith stripping event. ⺠Other ages indicate an unsteady and non-uniform tor emergence pattern. ⺠Undetectable impact of Dartmoor ice cap on exposure ages suggests brief glacier life span.
