Abstract
► Fallison Bog experienced a spatially complex and episodic developmental history. ► Within-basin and regional episodes of peatland development were temporally coherent. ► Model results indicate that peat deposits dominate carbon storage in Fallison Bog. ► Anticipated climate changes could accelerate peatland development in glacial kettles.
