Abstract
⺠Lateglacial chironomid-inferred summer air temperatures for two Scottish sites. ⺠Lateglacial temperature trends are broadly consistent between both sites and NGRIP. ⺠Local and regional forcing causes between-site differences in climate trends. ⺠If radiocarbon dating is impossible chronology can be developed based on tephra alone.
