Abstract
⺠We study hydrocarbon detection in marine carbonate reservoirs. ⺠Three EMD-based methods are compared in the application of hydrocarbon detection. ⺠NHT method and HU method are introduced in hydrocarbon detection. ⺠Energy distributions using the HHT method and NHT method are stronger. ⺠We consider that the NHT algorithm has better effects than the other two algorithms.
