► Fixed wing EM systems are subject to heavy noise. ► Noise sources can be quantified by 3D finite element modeling. ► Strongest noise source is wing flexure followed by roll and aircraft-ocean EM coupling. ► Aircraft effects are not constant and therefore not easy to calibrate.
