The current study verifies that crystalized NiMoO4 nanowire array can be converted into integrated 3D MoSe2@Ni0.85Se nanowire network via hydrothermal approach. After selenization, the periphery of each nanowire frame is coated by multilayered and misaligned MoSe2 with a high density of active sites, and Ni0.85Se as conductive component is embedded inside each nanowire for facilitating fast electron transfer. Such 3D nanowire network with core/shell feature shows promising results for hydrogen evolution reaction in alkaline medium with 117Â mV overpotential needed to reach the current density of 10Â mAÂ cmâ2 and superior long-term stability during 20Â hours test.
