Abstract
												- Direct synthesis of hydrogen peroxide was studied over AuPd bimetallic nanoparticles.
- Reactions involved in direct synthesis (hydrogenation and direct formation) were isolated and studied separately.
- Decomposition of hydrogen peroxide is inhibited by the addition of acid.
- The overall kinetic rate expression obtained was used to predict the peroxide concentration.
