- Three-dimensional networks of CNTs are synthesized by CVD of CH4 on Co/Mo/Mg catalyst.
- Sponge-like networks consist of CNT bundles interconnected via catalyst fragments.
- The influence of CH4 partial pressure on yield and products' morphology is studied.
- A “double-base” growth mechanism accounts for the interconnected bundle formation.
