Abstract
- Amphiphilic catalysts were synthesized by decoration of hydrophobic CNT with Au NPs.
- Au/CNT can stabilize water-oil emulsions and catalyze oxidation reactions at the liquid/liquid interface.
- The poisoning of the catalyst against the S-compounds was evaluated.
- Extensive H2O2 treatment leads to loss of Au NPs attached on CNT.
- CNT maintained its structural crystallinity during the catalytic process.
