Abstract
- Highly stable, active and selective Cu-Ga2O3-ZrO2 ternary catalysts were prepared.
- Presence of a CuGa2O4 nanospinel in these ternary catalysts was found.
- Cupper-gallia interaction prevents the sintering of the metal particles.
- Said interaction also prevents the complete reduction of copper.
- A balance of both metal-oxide interactions is needed to maximize performance.
