Abstract
- Mg6âxCuxAl2(OH)16CO3·4H2O hydrotalcites (with x = 0, 1, 3, 5) were synthesized.
- Sonication enables considerable reduction of hydrotalcites preparation time.
- A very unusual but remarkable “Fermi contact effect” was observed in NMR.
- Mg substitution by Cu in the hydrotalcite structure was evidenced.
