Abstract
- SBA-15 and Aerosil 380 silicas are used as supports for Ni, Co and Fe nanoparticles.
- Ethanol decomposition to H2 and C-nanotubes depends on the type of metal and support.
- Both Ni-based catalysts proved the most active with high yield for H2 and C-nanotubes.
- Well-defined MWCNTs are produced over Ni/silica independently on the support porosity.
