Abstract
- FCC catalyst performance was investigated under a wide array of operational conditions.
- In each scenario the same effects were seen.
- Gasoline selectivity runs through a maximum as a function of unit cell size.
- Bottoms cracking decreases with increasing unit cell size at constant conversion but increases at constant catalyst-to-oil ratio and at constant coke.
- Catalytic properties of FCC catalysts can be related to mass transport limitations.
