Abstract
- Impregnation and one-step sol-gel methods are used to synthesize Pd/meso-γ-Fe2O3.
- Pd/meso-γ-Fe2O3 catalysts perform better than Pd/meso-Si and Pd/meso-C catalysts.
- The 1% Pd/meso-γ-Fe2O3-im catalyst has the highest TOF number.
- The γ-Fe2O3 mesoporous network will promote dispersion of Pd nanoparticles.
- The one-step sol-gel method can lessen the Pd leaching problem.
