Abstract
ⶠPt/Fe2O3 and Pt/FexZr(1âx)O2 catalysts were prepared for selective CO + H2 oxidation. ⶠX-ray and Mössbauer showed solid solution and segregated mixed oxides with phases. ⶠZr4+ substitute Fe3+ ions in the lattice and Fe3+ diffuse in the zirconia lattice. ⶠCatalytic tests showed maximum CO conversion and total oxygen conversion. ⶠInterfacial Fe3+/Pt° sites improve the oxidation either for CO and H2 oxidation.
