Abstract
ⶠThe incorporation of MgO to Al2O3 results in the formation of MgAl2O4 spinel. ⶠThe acidity of the catalysts decreases when increasing the MgO content. ⶠNiSn/MgO/Al2O3 catalysts are active in steam reforming of methanol. ⶠThe addition of Sn improves the resistance to coke formation. ⶠHigher the basicity, lower the level of the carbonaceous deposit formed.
