Abstract
ⶠCsx(Mo,Nb)5O14 (x = 0-1) structured materials are mainly ionic conductors with minor electronic conductivity. ⶠCs promotion increases ionic conductivity and promotes changing the electronic conductivity from n-type to p-type. ⶠCsx(Mo,Nb)5O14n-type conductors are more active in the oxidative dehydrogenation of C2-C4 alkanes than the p-type ones. ⶠConsecutive alkene oxidation is increasingly inhibited with rising n-type electronic conductivity in Csx(Mo,Nb)5O14.
