Abstract
ⶠThe highest Sn content added to Pt increases the selectivity to UA. ⶠPtSn(3 wt%)/Al2O3 catalyst displays the highest selectivity value to UA (88%). ⶠFor PtSn/Al2O3, both dilution and electronic effects were found. ⶠFor PtSn/MgAl2O4 only geometric effects appear to take place. ⶠThe presence of alloy particles in PtSn/Al2O3 would increase selectivity values.
