Modeling of three-way catalytic converter performance with exhaust mixture from natural gas-fueled engines

A detailed surface reaction mechanism capable of modelling all the key reactions in a three-way catalyst used to treat exhaust from natural gas engine was developed. This figure compares the simulated results (lines) with experimental data (symbols) over a wide range of air to fuel ratio.​
