Abstract
- HCOOH vapour was decomposed on a Pd/C catalyst doped with K, Cs or Na carbonates.
- The TOF in hydrogen production increased 65 times at 353Â K with K-doping.
- The CO content in the products was less than 30Â ppm on the K-doped catalyst.
- Formate ions dissolved in liquid condensed in the catalyst pores provided the improvements.
