Abstract
- TCNQ@TiO2 was synthesized as a highly efficient visible photocatalyst with core-shell structure via a facile method of adsorption and assembly in solution.
- The apparent rate constant k of TCNQ@TiO2-20% was almost 67 times as high as that of the pure TiO2.
- Under visible light irradiation, the injection of the photogenerated holes from the HOMO of TCNQ into the VB of TiO2 resulted in the visible activity.
