Abstract
- We report an excellent V2O5-MoO3/Al2O3 catalyst for selective oxidation of methanol to DMM.
- The origin of high performance of the V2O5-MoO3/Al2O3 catalysts is attributed to the matched redox ability and acidity.
- A 14V2O5-14MoO3/Al2O3 catalyst exhibits an optimal 54% methanol conversion with a DMM selectivity of 92% at 393Â K.
