- Carbon nanotubes and nanosheets serve as sacrificial templates for open TiO2 films.
- Conformal coating is achieved by atomic layer deposition of TiO2.
- Calcinations leads to crystallization, template removal and nanoparticle formation.
- The films perform well in the gas flow photocatalytic oxidation of acetaldehyde.
- Photocatalytic activity is maintained even after ten consecutive test runs.
