Abstract
- The Rh/La2O3(15)-SiO2 catalyst was stable in ESR with a water to ethanol ratio of 5.
- The Rh particle size was estimated by the XPS Davis model and from CO chemisorption.
- The catalyst that remains stable showed localized carbon deposits visualized by TEM.
- The partially deactivated catalyst showed a more uniformly distributed carbonaceous layer.
- The carbon deposits were also characterized through the oxidation followed by in situ LRS.
