Abstract
NiO/NCNTs were facilely prepared as highly effective catalysts for the catalytic oxidation of toluene. The completed reaction temperature and the apparent activation energy of toluene oxidation over NiO/NCNTs decreased with increasing the doped graphitic nitrogen of NCNTs, which was attributed to the high adsorbed oxygen species and the good low-temperature reducibility of NiO/NCNTs.
