Abstract
- C2H5SH is selectively converted into H2S and C2H4 over protonic zeolites.
- The reaction rate was proved to follow a first order law.
- Catalyst lifetime measured at 823Â K is more than 70Â h of time-on-stream with a H-ZSM-5(15) catalyst.
- C2H5SH and CH3SH mixtures are selectively converted into H2S, C2H4 and CH4 over H-ZSM-5(15).
- The coke production significantly decreases in the presence of water.
