Abstract
- Bi2O3-TiO2 materials were prepared by a single-pot microemulsion procedure.
- The Bi component is present as an oxidic phase in strong interaction with anatase.
- Optimum performance achieved with a 5Â wt.% loading of Bi.
- UV and visible light performance superior to titania (including P25) references.
- Improved performance in terms of activity and selectivity to complete mineralization.
