Abstract
- Nitrogen-doped carbon nanotubes (N-CNTs) as cathode catalyst for alkaline DMFC.
- N-CNTs show similar alkaline DMFC performance as Pt when O2 is oxidant.
- N-CNTs show 4-times better alkaline DMFC performance than Pt when air is oxidant.
- Optimal cathode ionomer content is 40Â wt%.
- Ionomer aggregates around the CNTs leaving the catalyst layer open for transport.
