Abstract
- Exposed-crystal-face-controlled TiO2 nanorod having a brookite phase was prepared.
- Photocatalytic CO2 reduction efficiently proceeded over brookite TiO2 nanorod.
- CO2 reduction activity of TiO2 nanorod was much higher than that of commercial TiO2.
- CO2 reduction activity of the brookite TiO2 nanorod was dependent on its aspect ratio.
- Ag or Au loading on the brookite TiO2 nanorod improves activity for CO2 reduction.
