Abstract
- NOM oxidation and bacterial inactivation during neutral pH photo-Fenton was studied.
- Resorcinol enhances iron solubility but competes with bacterial inactivation.
- Under highly oxidative conditions, resorcinol effect on disinfection is negligible.
- At H2O2/Fe â¥Â 10/5 mg Lâ1 resorcinol oxidation and bacterial inactivation were achieved.
- Enterococcus faecalis was shown to be an adequate model for disinfection research.
