Abstract
Nickel promoted mesostructured silica nanoparticles (Ni/MSN) were highly active for CO2 methanation due to the presence of intra and interparticle pores which led to increase the number of oxygen vacancy in the catalyst. While, Ni has a role in the dissociation the molecular hydrogen to form atomic hydrogen.
