Abstract
- Electrochemical degradation of methomyl has been investigated.
- UV-vis spectrophotometry, HPLC, HPLC-ESI-MS and electrochemical techniques were used.
- Degradation kinetics has been investigated on the Ti/RuO2 electrode.
- One of the main degradation intermediate products is methomyl sulfoxide.
- Initially degradation follows the pseudo zero-order Langmuir-Hinshelwood reaction kinetics.
